At six o'clock, a little help can be the kindest gift.

You remember trying to get dinner started with a crying baby in your arms. Now it is your grandbaby, and the tired voice on the phone belongs to your own child. You want to bring something useful when you come over. This kit puts four familiar things together for a colicky evening: tummy warmth, shushing, a snug swaddle, and burp cloths. Give it with dinner and an offer to take a turn holding the baby.

“For functional gas and colic, I always recommend non-pharmacological options first. Warm compresses with light abdominal pressure are gentle, well-studied, and safe.”

A mom in a Facebook parents' group, explaining TummyHush to another mom

“Way back in the day 1972 and 1975 my mom bought me belly bands for my babies. My grandpap gave each a silver dollar to go in the pouch. They weren't heated but they worked. They were the best.”

Made for the grandmother who shows up

Dinner in the back seat. A little help in the bag.

You can take the baby while they eat. You can listen when it has been a hard day. And you can leave a few useful things within reach for tomorrow's six o'clock shift.

Why TummyHush exists

Hi there,

TummyHush exists because nothing worked for our daughter, and the one method every book agreed on, warm compress plus gentle pressure, was impossibly hard to actually do consistently when we were exhausted.

It isn't a miracle. It's a tool. It will not fix a growth spurt or a dairy allergy. But for the millions of babies dealing with normal, brutal, resolvable gas and colic, it can give you back your evenings.

Before you take a turn

The belly band is for awake, supervised time with a warm, never hot, insert. Microwave the removable red bean insert for 15 to 20 seconds. Test it on your wrist before use. The polyester plush wrap is machine-washable; remove the insert first. Always lay baby on their back to sleep with nothing loose in the crib. Swaddle only until baby shows signs of trying to roll. Keep the sound machine on low and across the room, never in the crib. Nothing on this page is medical advice.

Bring a little warmth to six o'clock.
